Bolognese Style Organic Grains
Ingredients
- 1 pouch of French Harvest Organic Grains Tomato & Oregano
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 ½ cup (2.6oz) of textured soy proteins
- 1 vegetable stock cube
- 2 cups of water
- 1 can of tomato sauce (15oz ; 1 ½ cup)
- ¾ cup (2.5 oz) of shredded cheese
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Add the stock cube to 2 cups of boiling water. Rehydrate the textured soy proteins with the vegetable broth for 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, brown the chopped onion with olive oil in a frying pan over high heat for 2/3 minutes.
- Add the textured soy proteins with the vegetable broth, the tomato sauce, then reduce to medium-low heat, and let simmer until you are satisfied by the texture (at least 5 min).
- Prepare the pouch of French Harvest Organic Grains Tomato & Oregano as per package instructions.
- Pour on bolognese sauce and sprinkle with shredded cheese. Serve immediately.
